Festival Weekend

​

Doors open Friday afternoon at 1:30pm for Friday ukulele orchestra workshops, or Saturday at 9:00am for Saturday events, which get underway at 10:00am. Vendors will be ready for you to check them out as early as 9:00am Saturday so feel free to come and mingle! But please note that doors do not open until 9:00am.

 

Three 75-minute workshop times throughout the day with your choice of four workshops in each timeslot. Lots of great selections for you to choose from. Stay tuned for workshop details coming later in the spring/early summer.

 

Lunch and dinner are on your own so you can get to know Guelph and each other! This year’s location – Harcourt Memorial United Church – is between downtown Guelph and the Stone Road area, both of which feature lots of great restaurants for you to choose from. You are welcome to stay with your own lunch at the venue on Saturday (please note it is a nut-free environment) but the church will close between 5:00pm and 7:00pm while we set up for the evening so we’ll ask you to find another location for your dinner before we re-group for a fantastic evening show. We encourage you to explore the delicious food Guelph has to offer!

 

Registration Options

 

You have several registration options this year, including a one- or two-day package, which includes workshops, the big group strum, and both evening concerts. Friday afternoon workshop will be a special Ukulele Orchestra workshop taught by Cynthia Kinnunen and Kevin Carroll.
